Hunan Zhongnan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in December 2017 as a provincial-level comprehensive service platform for artificial intelligence and intelligent robotics. With intelligent robots, industrial AI agents, and ultra-precision laser equipment as its core products, the company is committed to becoming a world-class provider of industrial intelligence solutions and a comprehensive service platorm.The company is among the first batch of national key "Little Giant" enterprises, recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as an industry-leading enterprise under key national support, and serves as a key-node enterprise in China's key manufacturing industry chains. It is also the founding president unit of the Hunan Intelligent Manufacturing Association and the designated "chain leader" enterprise of Changsha's artificial intelligence and robotics industry chain.
The company currently employs more than 300 staff, 80% of whom are engaged in research and development, drawing top-tier technical talent from leading institutions including Tsinghua University, the University of Science and Technology of China, and Hunan University. In technological innovation, Zhongnan Intelligent has taken the lead in undertaking multiple major national research programs, and its achievements have been recognized with the IERA Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Robotics, the First Prize of the National Award for Progress in Commercial Science and Technology, and the First Prize of the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, alongside a cumulative portfolio of over 300 patents. The company has established ten innovation platforms, including a provincial-level academician workstation, and has jointly built a national key laboratory in collaboration with academician-led teams from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. It has further been honored with multiple accolades, including designation as a "National Quality Benchmark" enterprise and recognition for Hunan Province Single-Item Champion Products.
