Hunan Zhongnan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in December 2017 as a provincial-level comprehensive service platform for artificial intelligence and intelligent robots. Focusing on intelligent robots, industrial agents, and ultra-precision laser core equipment as its main products, the company is committed to building a world-class provider of industrial intelligent solutions and a comprehensive service platform. The company is among the first batch of national "Little Giant" enterprises specialized in refined, distinctive, and innovative fields, has been designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as a nationally key-supported industry-leading enterprise, and is a "chain pearl" enterprise on key national manufacturing industry chains. It serves as the founding president unit of the Hunan Intelligent Manufacturing Association and the "enterprise chain leader" of the artificial intelligence and robot industry chain in Changsha.
The company has a workforce of over 300 employees, 80% of whom are R&D and technical professionals, gathering research elites from leading universities such as Tsinghua University, the University of Science and Technology of China, and Hunan University. In terms of technological innovation, Zhongnan Intelligent has led a number of major national research projects and won the IERA Award for robot invention and innovation, the First Prize of the National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award, and the First Prize of the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in consecutive years, with over 300 patents granted. The company has established 10 innovation platforms, including provincial-level academician workstations, and jointly built a national key laboratory with academician teams from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. It has also been honored as a "National Quality Benchmark" and received the title of Hunan Provincial Manufacturing Single Champion Product, among other distinctions. Its products are widely applied in engineering machinery, automotive, and foundry industries, with core products such as laser scanning galvanometers certified to international standards including CE, and its embodied intelligent winding robot is the first embodied intelligent robot product in China to obtain EU CE certification.
