Laser cladding equipment

The laser cladding system is a specialized robotic additive‑repair platform that uses high‑power lasers to melt metal powder or welding wire, forming wear‑resistant and corrosion‑resistant metallic coatings on component surfaces. It enables the repair of valuable damaged parts and the pre‑deposition of wear‑resistant layers on new components. The equipment is equipped with a 2,000–6,000 W fiber laser operating at a wavelength of 1080 ± 5 nm, featuring a standard 20‑m optical fiber, an adjustable spot size of 4–6 mm, and an air‑assisted automatic powder‑feeding system. Cladding thickness is programmable from 0.5 to 3.5 mm. A dual‑temperature‑controlled chiller ensures stable temperature regulation, while argon and nitrogen shielding prevents oxidation of the coating. Paired with a six‑axis industrial robot and a positioner, the system can perform cladding on complex curved surfaces of shafts, molds, and hydraulic components. The entire unit operates on 380 V industrial power, and its modular powder‑delivery and optical‑path assemblies facilitate easy replacement and maintenance, significantly reducing the cost of reworking damaged parts and extending the equipment’s service life.

High-Power Laser Flying Welding Equipment (High-Speed Laser Flying Welding Equipment)

The laser flying‑welding system employs an integrated architecture combining industrial robots with high‑speed galvanometer scanners, enabling continuous laser welding during dynamic workpiece motion. With galvanometer scanners achieving millisecond‑level positioning and rapid re‑targeting, production throughput is 4–5 times that of conventional spot welding, significantly reducing consumable and auxiliary material waste. The equipment supports long‑distance defocused welding up to 500 mm, allowing large‑area weld seams to be processed without moving the scanning head, and it can accommodate custom‑defined complex contour weld paths. A complementary servo rotary table enables external‑axis robot coordination, making it well suited for intricate welding tasks on large vehicle bodies and structural components. Laser power ranges from 1,000 to 8,000 W, with fiber‑optic delivery options; water‑cooled, temperature‑controlled heat dissipation ensures stable performance. The rotary table offers a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.015″, while the robot is equipped with mainstream brands such as FANUC, KUKA, or ABB, delivering a repeat positioning accuracy of ≤±0.06 mm. The control system can be configured with Siemens or Omron PLCs. The complete line includes safety fencing and a human‑machine interface touchscreen, and it can integrate with factory MES systems to enable end‑to‑end traceability of welding processes and quality data. This solution is widely used for high‑volume automated welding of automotive body-in-white assemblies.
