CCTV's "Face to Face" Exclusive Interview with Zhongnan Intelligent's Guo Dongni: The Youngest Aspiring "National Master Craftsman"

Release date: 2024-11-04

On November 3, CCTV's "Face to Face" column was broadcast. This issue featured interviews with Wang Chenglu, the "Father of Hongmeng", and Guo Dongni, a "post-95s" quasi-"great country craftsman" of Zhongnan Intelligent Changtai Robot. They have many differences: one specializes in mobile operating system technology, and the other focuses on the field of robot visual perception; but they have one thing in common: they are both at the forefront of the development of new quality productivity, helping the country achieve independent control of key technologies and getting rid of foreign dependence.

Unlike Huawei, which is world-renowned, Zhongnan Intelligent has always been rooted in the little-known track of industrial intelligent manufacturing. Exactly ten years since Changtai Robots was reported on the front page of Science and Technology Daily and hailed as the "National Robot Team" on November 4, 2014, 29-year-old Zhongnan Intelligent young engineer Guo Dongni once again brought many of the company's hard-core technologies into the public eye. Behind this ten-year answer sheet is the dedication of countless Zhongnan Intelligent strivers who left their hometowns, their unremitting innovation, and their day-and-night research, overcoming more than a hundred technical problems in the foundry, cement, and textile industries. Although the road ahead is still difficult, Zhongnan Intelligent will continue to achieve greater value with hard work and the sentiment and mind of serving the country.
