Dr. Yang Yang has been appointed as a member of the new National Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee.

On November 27, 2025, the 2025 Annual Meeting of the National Expert Committee on Intelligent Manufacturing (hereinafter referred to as the Expert Committee) was successfully convened in Nanjing. The meeting was attended by Xin Guobin, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT); Ma Xin, Executive Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province; Zhou Ji, Chairman of the National Strategic Advisory Committee on Building a Manufacturing Power and Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Su Bo, Chairman of the Expert Committee, Deputy Director of the Economic Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Former Vice Minister of MIIT; Li Peigen, Chairman of the Expert Committee, Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as other officials and experts. Relevant persons-in-charge from the First Equipment Industry Department of MIIT, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province, the People’s Government of Nanjing, 11 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and more than 80 members of the Expert Committee participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Su Bo, Chairman of the Expert Committee.

During the event, a ceremony was held to appoint the new term of experts; Dr. Yang Yang, Chairman of the company, was appointed as a member of the newly formed National Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee. As a corporate leader, Dr. Yang Yang’s inclusion in this list not only reflects the nation’s high recognition of the company’s innovative capabilities and industry influence in the smart equipment sector, but also underscores full appreciation for the significant achievements the company has attained in recent years in serving national strategies, supporting major national projects, and undertaking critical national research initiatives.

Going forward, the Expert Committee will thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, focusing on the overarching goal of “basically achieving new‑type industrialization by 2035.” Seizing this opportunity, the company will further strengthen collaboration with national ministries and commissions as well as industry research institutions, continuing to invest in key areas such as intelligent manufacturing equipment, industrial internet platforms, and comprehensive smart‑factory solutions—providing deeper support for major national needs, undertaking strategic tasks at a higher level, and vigorously advancing industrial innovation. Upholding its mission of “serving the nation, serving industry, and supporting strategy,” the company will contribute even more to China’s new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation.
