Hong Li, Chief Expert at Zhongnan Intelligent, Invited to the Launch of Wenzhou’s Research Project on an Intelligent Manufacturing Evaluation Standards System and “Robotics Plus Industry” Implementation Plans

On the afternoon of April 3, the launch meeting for Wenzhou’s research project on an intelligent manufacturing evaluation standards system and “Robotics Plus Industry” application implementation plans was successfully held. More than 30 participants attended by invitation — municipal officials at various levels, industry experts, academics, and business leaders — to discuss intelligent manufacturing and the development of the robotics industry. Zhongnan Intelligent attended as a key provincial state-owned intelligent manufacturing enterprise from Hunan.

The project aims to develop intelligent manufacturing evaluation standards, a needs and current-state analysis, and a research report on industrial robot applications, providing a sound basis for enterprise consulting and planning, project applications, and implementation. It will help enterprises assess their intelligent manufacturing applications, cultivate and support pilot demonstration projects, and accelerate and improve the intelligent transformation and upgrading of manufacturing. At the meeting, the expert team held in-depth discussions on the evaluation standards system and the “Robotics Plus Industry” implementation plans. Hong Li, Chief Expert at Zhongnan Intelligent, offered views on key intelligent manufacturing technologies, equipment, and implementation, setting out the current state and practical requirements in product development, intelligent equipment, industrial robots, intelligent logistics, industrial software, and intelligent factories.

As a provincial-level state-owned intelligent manufacturing platform, Zhongnan Intelligent will strengthen cooperation with the Wenzhou Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing in areas including expert recruitment, talent development, and core technologies, drawing on Wenzhou’s leading technical capabilities and resources to build a cooperation platform for the intelligent manufacturing and robotics industries. At the same time, the company will work with Siemens Industry Software and the Changsha Municipal People’s Government to jointly establish the Industry 4.0 (Zhongnan Intelligent) Innovation Center and drive the development of intelligent manufacturing industry clusters. Looking ahead, Zhongnan Intelligent will build a comprehensive intelligent manufacturing group centered on industrial robotics technology, grounded in the automotive and auto parts industries and extending into iron and steel, metallurgy, civil explosives, transport and logistics, and other strategic emerging industries.

Attendees included Xu Zhuliang, Deputy Director of the Wenzhou Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization; Chen Sixiong, Director, and Yao Pengpeng, Deputy Director, of its Technology and Equipment Division; Yang Wei, President of the Wenzhou Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing, together with Su Tiande, Executive Vice President, and Vice Presidents Dr. Huang Pei and Zhu Duoxian; Li Fengping, Vice President of the Institute of Laser and Optoelectronics Intelligent Manufacturing at Wenzhou University; and Professor Shi Kai, Dean of the School of Design at Wenzhou Polytechnic, among other officials and experts.
