Zhongnan Intelligent at the Joint Annual Conference of Six Industry Associations

On the afternoon of December 22, the 2018 joint annual working conference of six industry bodies was successfully convened, organized by the Hunan Machine Tool Industry Association together with the Hunan Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Vocational Education Group, the Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Branch of the Hunan Society of Mechanical Engineering, the Hunan 3D Printing Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the Changsha Robotics Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, and the Changsha CNC Equipment Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. Officials attending included Yin Linbo, Deputy Director General of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Ma Tianyi, Director, and Peng Bin, Deputy Director, of its Equipment Industry Division; Liu Ting, Deputy Director of the Regulations Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology; and Tao Hong, Deputy Director of the Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau.

The 2018 joint annual working conference

The conference was held in the fifth-floor auditorium of the Lide Building at Hunan University of Science and Technology, with more than 200 participants including the presidents, board members, and member-organization representatives of the six associations. Changtai Robot attended in three capacities — as President Unit of the Changsha Robotics Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, as a specially invited organization, and as an award recipient — and delivered a keynote presentation.

The conference was chaired by Yang Cuiming, President of Hunan Mechanical and Electrical Polytechnic. Xu Shixiong, President of the Hunan Machine Tool Industry Association, delivered the 2018 joint work report on behalf of the six associations’ presidents. Dr. Yang Yang read out the commendation document and announced the winning organizations and individuals. Plaques and awards were presented on site to five organizations recognized for technological innovation, 10 individuals recognized for technological innovation, eight individuals recognized for outstanding contributions to the industry, and 12 outstanding correspondents. Zhongnan Intelligent received three of the awards.

Gao Jinrui — Secretary-General of the Hunan Intelligent Manufacturing Standardization Technical Committee, Executive Deputy General Manager of Zhongnan Intelligent, and General Manager of Changtai Robot — gave a keynote titled “Automated, Digital, Connected, Intelligent: The Application and Realization of Intelligent Manufacturing in Industry.” He set out in detail the current state and leading trends of intelligent manufacturing, along with the full life-cycle automation, digitalization, and intelligent upgrading services and high-end intelligent products that Zhongnan Intelligent provides to customers across all industries and the entire industrial chain. The presentation drew high praise from the officials and delegates present.
