Application Scenarios

Targeting metal sheet and structural component forming processes in the energy equipment sector, this solution supports bending, shaping, welding, and grinding/polishing operations for a wide range of energy‑equipment parts. It enables flexible retrofitting of conventional machine tools, meeting the demands of automated forming production for diverse product varieties, small batch sizes, and high precision.

Application Results

An integrated processing system featuring automated loading and unloading, CNC bending, automatic forming, robotic welding, flexible grinding, and smoke‑and‑dust removal delivers fully unmanned operation across the entire component‑forming process. The core electro‑hydraulic CNC servo bending equipment can handle steel plates with thicknesses from 0.3 to 12 mm and widths up to 4 meters; paired with laser‑based angle‑measurement compensation, it achieves bending accuracy within ±0.1°. A self‑developed vision‑based positioning system precisely identifies part models, ensuring high‑precision material feeding, while the servo‑driven automatic forming module accommodates a wide range of product types. The welding system incorporates laser tracking to consistently maintain superior weld quality, and the flexible grinding unit produces burr‑free finishes, complemented by dust‑extraction equipment for clean, controlled production. Automation at each workstation replaces six manual operators, more than doubling production efficiency. Leveraging visual recognition, gravity‑assisted secondary positioning, dual‑station clamping, and an automated turntable, the system enables fully automated operations for workpiece loading/unloading, fixture setup, machining, and edge‑flanging. Integrated with an MES, it captures, transmits, visualizes, and applies production data throughout the entire workflow. Featuring a dedicated robot‑and‑milling‑platform layout and combining offline programming with real‑time path correction via line lasers, the system supports rapid changeovers and flexible, high‑efficiency mass production, maximizing equipment capacity.
