Zhang Zhiyong, Executive Vice President of the China Foundry Association, Visits Zhongnan Intelligent

On April 7, Zhang Zhiyong, Executive Vice President of the China Foundry Association, inspected Zhongnan Intelligent, conducting an in-depth review of innovations in intelligent foundry technology and industry collaborative development. Li Xiangjun, Party Branch Secretary of the Hunan Foundry Association, attended. Gao Di, member of the Party General Branch Committee of Zhongnan Intelligent and Chairman of Changtai Robot, and Chen Guoli, General Manager of Industrial Intelligent Systems, warmly received the delegation.

Zhang Zhiyong and his delegation toured Zhongnan Intelligent’s technology exhibition hall and production workshops, and received detailed briefings on the company’s core technological achievements and flagship applications in industrial robots, intelligent equipment, and digital factories. Zhang praised Zhongnan Intelligent’s innovative practices in high-end equipment manufacturing and integration of artificial intelligence technologies, and paid particular attention to the company’s progress in industrializing intelligent foundry solutions.

At the symposium, Gao Di warmly welcomed the visit of the China Foundry Association and industry colleagues, and outlined Zhongnan Intelligent's strategic layout and business plans in the foundry sector. He noted that the company has been committed to promoting the deep integration of intelligent manufacturing and the traditional foundry industry, and hopes to use this exchange as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation with industry associations and companies across the industrial chain.

Zhang Zhiyong said that the foundry industry is currently at a critical stage of transformation and upgrading, with intelligence and green development as future directions. Zhongnan Intelligent's technical strength and industry experience provide important support for the sector; he looks forward to deepening cooperation on standards development, technical research, and other areas to jointly promote high-quality development of the foundry industry. Participants engaged in lively discussions around industry pain points, technical needs, international trends, and cooperation models, reaching multiple consensuses.

Zhongnan Intelligent has received numerous honors from the China Foundry Association, including "Outstanding Member Unit" and "Outstanding Young Entrepreneur." The company has long focused on the foundry field, serving industry leaders such as China FAW, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, Weichai Power, Yunnei Power, Yuchai, and Heli. It holds more than 70 core technologies in intelligent casting; its self-developed "CTR cast iron cleaning system" successfully broke the technological monopoly held by foreign robotics companies in this area and filled a gap in the domestic market. This inspection visit consolidated the close ties between Zhongnan Intelligent and the China Foundry Association. The two sides will continue through routine communication mechanisms to carry out pragmatic cooperation in technology R&D, market expansion, and ecosystem building, jointly advancing the large-scale application of intelligent manufacturing technologies in the foundry industry and injecting new momentum into high-quality development of manufacturing.
