Exploring New Pathways for the Industry: Chairman Liu Zheng Leads Delegation to EFORT

On January 8, 2018, one month after Zhongnan Intelligent’s establishment, Chairman Liu Zheng and General Manager Yang Yang led a delegation on a visit to EFORT Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., where the two sides held in-depth discussions on the industrialization of robotics and intelligent equipment, core technology innovation, and closer cooperation in the future. EFORT Chairman Xu Lijin, Deputy General Managers Yu Xiaodong and Zeng Hui, Sales Director Sun Gao, and Sales Manager Li Jian accompanied the tour.

As China’s largest industrial robot manufacturer by production and sales, EFORT has pursued a dual-track approach of independent innovation and overseas acquisitions. By acquiring, introducing, and absorbing advanced technologies and expertise from international industrial automation, it has built a coordinated presence across the entire industrial chain — from core robot components through complete robot units to high-end robotic system integration.

At the meeting, Chairman Xu Lijin briefed the visitors on EFORT’s overall development and current business operations. In 2017, he said, the company had both brought in strategic investors and completed a matrix sales network organized by region and by industry. Regionally, it had further developed its sales network across South China, East China, North China, Southwest China, and its Wuhu headquarters, extending its reach and service into key markets. By industry, it had implemented its “4+2+X” strategy, with a particular emphasis on expanding into emerging sectors.

General Manager Yang Yang said the visit had given him a much fuller understanding of EFORT and expressed strong admiration for its strategic positioning and management approach. He noted that Zhongnan Intelligent is at a critical founding stage and should learn from the courage and resolve EFORT showed in reforming itself when it faced crisis, making deeper reform the principal driver of the company’s growth.

Chairman Liu Zheng thanked EFORT for its warm reception. Innovation-driven development, he said, is the engine of growth, and only technological innovation can generate lasting internal momentum. Zhongnan Intelligent represents Huasheng Group’s leapfrog strategy for entering the high end of intelligent equipment manufacturing, and he expressed hope that the two companies would reach agreement on resource sharing and in-depth cooperation in R&D, technology, sales, and cross-sector collaboration — maximizing synergies, strengthening both companies’ competitiveness and market share in China and overseas, breaking the hold of foreign robots on the Chinese market, and exploring new pathways for the industry to mutual benefit.
