Zhongnan Intelligent's Technical Artisan Wins Second Prize in the 2nd Yuhua District Workers' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

Release date: 2026-08-01

On July 31, the finals and award ceremony of the 2nd Yuhua District Workers' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, themed "Yuhua Workers Building Dreams, Intelligent Innovation for the Future" and hosted by the Changsha Yuhua District Federation of Trade Unions, were successfully held.

A high-caliber competition with intense rivalry among entries, the event went through layers of rigorous selection — open preliminary screening, first-round contests, and semi-finals — before the finals awarded one First Prize, two Second Prizes, and three Third Prizes on site. The project "Industrial AI Embodied-Intelligence Robot for Reduction Furnace Base Grinding," spearheaded by Deng Le, a front-line technical artisan of Zhongnan Intelligent, stood out from the field and won the Second Prize.

Centered on the core requirement of developing new-quality productive forces, this year's competition barred vaguely conceptual entries and focused on evaluating each project's practical deployability, on-site application value, and potential for large-scale rollout. All award-winning projects were jointly reviewed and selected on merit by a judging panel of industry technical experts and trade union, government, and enterprise representatives. The award-winning project offers a concentrated showcase of the model-artisan spirit of the company's front-line technical engineers — rooted in production posts, honing hands-on skills, and tackling technical upgrades head-on. It also fully reflects the company's working orientation of empowering production through technological innovation, continuously improving production-line quality and efficiency, and implementing intelligent process upgrades.

This honor is both a concentrated display of the craftsmanship achieved by the company's grassroots technical artisans — who hold fast to the production front line, refine their practical techniques, and devote themselves to research and breakthroughs — and a strong affirmation by the Yuhua District Federation of Trade Unions and industry review experts of the company's deep engagement in industrial AI technology and the effectiveness of its front-line employees' technical innovation in advancing the digital upgrading of traditional industry.

Going forward, the company's trade union will continue to build platforms for employee innovation and excellence, cultivate fertile ground for developing industrial artisans, focus on the practical application of frontier industrial AI technologies, and guide all employees to innovate and create value from their own positions — boosting the high-quality development of the regional industrial sector with the solid strength of its artisans, and contributing the power of the enterprise union to building Yuhua District into a demonstration hub of advanced industrial innovation.
