On May 6, the company’s Safety Committee convened a work meeting on workplace safety, thoroughly drawing lessons from recent major domestic safety incidents, including the May 4 Huasheng Fireworks explosion in Liuyang. The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of directives and instructions issued by national leaders and relevant higher-level meetings, and proceeded to re-deploy and reinforce the company’s next steps in safety management.

The meeting emphasized that there are no small matters when it comes to safety. All parties must adopt a highly responsible attitude toward the company, its employees, and society; discard complacency and wishful thinking; and elevate safety management to the same priority as business operations, talent development, and the cultivation of a strong work ethic and corporate culture—making it a top-level initiative led by the chief executive. Management accountability at all levels must be firmly enforced, with the “dual responsibility” system fully implemented. With regard to critical areas—including production facilities, project sites, transportation, fire safety, cafeterias, dormitories, and employees’ homes—the meeting called for regular, comprehensive inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards. In the near term, particular attention should be paid to risks associated with extreme heat, while also strengthening household safety measures and raising awareness among employees and their families. On April 30 and May 6, the company’s Safety Committee conducted back-to-back, company-wide, system-wide safety inspections in preparation for and following the Labor Day holiday. Employing a combination of departmental self-inspections and centralized company oversight, the team carried out thorough, blanket reviews and remediation efforts at theZhongnan Intelligent Industrial Park, the Yueyang plant, the Mianyang plant in Sichuan, and the Beijing branch. Moving forward, the company will institutionalize routine safety audits, increase investment in safety initiatives, and resolutely prevent all types of accidents. These measures will help maintain a stable and secure production environment, support the company’s high-quality development, and continuously enhance the sense of well-being and security among employees and their families.
