Guo Dongni attended the Third Innovation Exchange Conference and Forum for National Master Craftsmen.

The company’s intelligent fabric-inspection system made a striking debut at the conference, drawing enthusiastic responses.

On the morning of September 23, the Third Innovation Exchange Conference and Forum for National Master Craftsmen was held in Chongqing. Yuan Jiajun, Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, attended the event and declared it open. Xu Liuping, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Vice Chairman, and First Secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, delivered a speech; Hu Henghua, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, gave remarks; Xu Zhenchao, a “People’s Craftsman,” also addressed the gathering; Zhang Zhigang, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of State Grid Corporation of China, spoke; and Wang Hongxiao, a National Master Craftsman, offered his views. The event was chaired by Ma Lu, Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.

Prior to the opening ceremony, senior leaders attending the event toured the exhibition at the Chongqing International Expo Center, where the company’s independently developed intelligent fabric-inspection machine was showcased as a flagship exhibit at the All-China Federation of Trade Unions’ booth. Guo Dongni, a master craftsman and deputy chief engineer of the Robotics Division at Zhongnan Intelligent Changtai Robotics, presented on-site the core technological advantages and innovative achievements of the intelligent fabric-inspection machine. During the expo, the device drew considerable attention and lively engagement from numerous guests and industry representatives, thanks to its high precision, exceptional efficiency, and embodied intelligence in textile defect detection. Through this focused showcase, the company not only further enhanced its brand visibility and industry recognition but also laid a solid foundation for cultivating strategic clients and expanding into additional application scenarios.

During the event, Guo Dongni also attended the Women Craftsmen Forum and delivered a keynote speech titled “When ‘Old Factories’ Meet ‘New Brains.’” Drawing on her experience in developing an intelligent fabric-inspection machine, she explained how AI can serve as an “amplifier” for accumulated expertise, boosting efficiency and quality in the traditional textile industry. She noted that her rapid growth into a “National Master Craftsman”—a member of the post‑1995 generation—would not have been possible without the company’s sustained support in research platforms, hands-on project work, and an innovative corporate culture, which provide young artisans with opportunities to hone their skills on key national research initiatives and at the forefront of industrial production. Looking ahead, she will continue to lead her team in advancing the deep integration of artificial intelligence and manufacturing, contributing to the high‑quality development of smart manufacturing.

The Third Innovation Exchange Conference and Forum for National Master Craftsmen, co-hosted by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, was held under the theme “Craftsmanship Forges Dreams, Pioneering a New Future.” The event showcased and promoted the innovative achievements of national master craftsmen in advancing new‑type productive forces, highlighted trade union initiatives to mobilize workers in this endeavor, and underscored the positive outcomes of reforms aimed at strengthening the industrial workforce. At the venue, more than 2,200 innovative works created by over 1,700 skilled artisans were on display. Attending the conference were officials from relevant departments of the Coordination Group for Industrial Workforce Development Reform—such as the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the National Development and Reform Commission—along with leaders of provincial trade unions, officials from Chongqing and the All‑China Federation of Trade Unions, and over 800 participants, including 265 national master craftsmen, skilled personnel at various levels, academic experts, enterprise representatives, and worker delegates.
